C) Marine signals of terrestrial climate
(Same as in Phase II, but with integral multi-proxy approach)

Planned research projects:

16 PhD projects, 2 PostDoc projects and 7 integrated Research Student projects

Program novelties:

  • Wherever possible, projects share the same materials
  • Educational RV POSEIDON research cruise planned for 2008, probably to offshore Galicia or Morocco
  • Joint field work on Mediterranean sections with NL partners (e.g. Moroccan Ain el Beida section)
